Guest Speaker - 2006

Carl Medearis
Carl Medearis and his family lived in Beirut, Lebanon from 1992 until recently. Through his unique and strategic approach to service in the Arab world, he and others have been teaching Muslim university students, businessmen and political leaders to live their lives by the principles of Jesus so they can change their nations. Today Carl spends much of his time working with these leaders both in the West and in the Arab world with the goal of seeing a total transformation of the Arab Middle East through the life and teachings of Jesus.

Carl's hope for our weekend is that together we might be stunned again by the beauty of Jesus and energized afresh to radiate Him from wherever we are.

Music
SALT Worship Band
Worship will be led by the SALT worship band from Grand Canyon University. For several years, they have led one of the largest gatherings of Christian college students in metro-Phoenix!

On behalf of the band, Gabe says, "We are so excited to be a part of this upcoming conference.  Worship is our personal expression, our personal communication with the Savior.  It blends music, scripture and ultimately prayer to bring us into His presence, offering our songs to Him, and creating a unique experience every time we open our mouths to praise His awesome and holy name.

We believe what a songwriter has recently said, 'Worship is so much more than the songs we sing.  Worship is in the heart that sings the song.'

So let us gather at Take My Life and with full hearts and voices and come into the presence of our King!"
